ACMPR

Applying for an ACMPR licence (FAQ)

How the application works end to end — what you submit, how long it takes, and the things that slow it down.

What do I actually submit to Health Canada?

A completed registration form plus the original medical document from your practitioner. The two must match exactly — name, address, daily amount, and signatures all need to line up.

How long does approval take?

Health Canada’s service standard is roughly eight weeks for a complete, correct application. Errors or an amount that triggers extra review add time.

Can the whole thing be done online?

The consultation and package prep are online. The final registration goes to Health Canada by mail because they require the original medical document.

What is the most common reason for delays?

Inconsistent or incomplete paperwork, followed by daily amounts that invite extra review. A clean, modest, consistent application is the fastest path.

Can I grow while I wait?

No. You are only authorized once your registration certificate arrives. Starting early is a compliance risk.

Eligibility takes ninety seconds.

No payment to find out. Transparent, tiered pricing should you choose to proceed.
